WhichCapsule plugin privacy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

The WhichCapsule plugin helps you find Nespresso capsules and machines in a conversation. This page covers its two recommendation tools. Thesite privacy policyapplies when you open WhichCapsule in a browser.

Information we receive

When you request a recommendation, the plugin receives only the tool arguments selected for that request: Original or Vertuo system for capsule matches, a shopping country, and any optional drink, taste, milk, space, usage or budget preferences you provide. The tools do not ask for your name, email, precise location, payment information or complete conversation history.

How we use and share it

We use these choices to rank relevant products in our catalog and return names, explanations and WhichCapsule product links to your conversation. OpenAI sends the selected tool arguments to our server and receives the tool response. Vercel hosts the server and processes technical request information needed to deliver and secure it. Recommendation preferences are not sent to Amazon or another retailer by these tools. A retailer receives information under its own policy only if you later follow a retailer link on our website.

Retention

The recommendation tools do not save your tool arguments or results as a profile or recommendation history in the WhichCapsule database. They are used during the request and discarded by the application after the response. Technical hosting logs may retain request metadata for up to 30 days, depending on Vercel account settings. We do not intentionally write your preference values to those logs. OpenAI handles its own conversation data under its separate privacy terms.

Your choices

Optional preferences can be left out of a request. You can stop using or disconnect the plugin at any time in ChatGPT. For a question about WhichCapsule data or a deletion request, use ourcontact page. If you open our website, its cookie controls and privacy policy describe the separate site experience.
