Essenza Mini: who it is for
The smallest Original machine in the range: Espresso and Lungo, a small tank and no milk system. It is the pick when counter space matters more than volume or milk drinks. It uses Original capsules only and offers Espresso, Lungo; the water tank holds 20 fl oz (0.6 L).
Strengths
- Milk drinks on the machine (built-in milk system, one-touch recipes)
- Compact footprint for small kitchens
Trade-offs
- Cups top out at Lungo size; for mug-size coffee look at Vertuo
- Small used-capsule bin; empty it often
- Original capsules only; Vertuo pods do not fit
Keeping it running
Descale every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first (Nespresso US guidance), with Nespresso's own descaling kit. Descaling steps for the Essenza Mini.
