If you wanted a Creatista for its automatic steam wand and latte art, the closest machine that was still in stock at our check is the Vertuo Creatista: the same idea of a Breville wand that textures milk in a jug, but on Vertuo capsules. If what you really want is lattes at the press of a button, the Gran Lattissima and Lattissima One do that on Original capsules without a wand to learn. At our check on November 2, 2026, Amazon US listed both Creatista Plus and Creatista Pro as unavailable, and Breville's US store showed the Creatista Plus as out of stock.

Vertuo Creatista: the same steam wand, different capsules

The Vertuo Creatista is the one Nespresso machine you can currently buy in the US that pairs a Creatista-style automatic steam wand with a stainless jug, so you still pour your own milk and can practice latte art. The difference is the capsule system. It uses Vertuo pods, which read a barcode and brew everything from an espresso to a mug and a carafe-size serving. Original capsules, including the cheaper compatible brands, will not fit.

That trade is worth it if you also drink larger cups. It is less attractive if you already own a drawer of Original capsules or mostly drink short espresso. Our Vertuo Creatista review covers the wand settings and cleaning, and Vertuo Creatista vs Creatista Plus puts the two side by side.

Gran Lattissima: one-touch milk on Original capsules

If the attraction was simply café drinks at home, the Gran Lattissima gets you there with less effort. Milk goes into a removable container, and the machine froths and pours it into the cup in one step, so there is no jug, purge or wand to wipe. It stays on Original capsules, which keeps the widest choice of coffees and third-party pods. The cost is control: you cannot shape the foam yourself the way a wand allows. See Gran Lattissima vs Creatista Plus for the full comparison.

Lattissima One: the smaller milk machine

The Lattissima One makes one milk drink at a time from a small milk jug that you fill for each cup and rinse afterwards. It suits one or two lattes a day on a smaller counter, and it is usually the lowest-priced Nespresso machine with its own milk system. It does not store milk for several cups and it has no wand. Lattissima One vs Creatista Plus compares the routine in detail.

Breville Bambino Plus: if you were really after the wand

Some readers choose a Creatista because they want café-style microfoam without learning a manual machine. If that is you and you are open to leaving capsules behind, the Breville Bambino Plus is a compact espresso machine with an automatic milk wand. It uses ground coffee in a portafilter, so you need pre-ground coffee or a grinder, and every shot takes a minute longer. Bambino Plus vs Barista Express explains what that routine involves.

Should you wait for the Creatista to come back?

If you specifically want Original capsules and a steam wand, there is no current alternative that combines the two, so waiting can make sense. Breville's US page offers a restock notification. Avoid paying a large premium to third-party resellers for a new unit, and check the seller, warranty and the model number on any open-box listing. If you are buying for a deadline such as a gift, choose by the table above: wand and Vertuo, or one-touch and Original.

Still unsure? The machine finder ranks every current Nespresso machine by your drinks, milk routine and counter space, and it flags any machine Amazon US cannot sell right now.
